Jam Inspiration
When I heard the word "progress" in the theme my mind went to progress bars or experience bars which made me think on RPGs. My first thought was to give experience for failure but quickly realized that would be difficult to balance. I went with failing giving the tools to succeed.
Short comings
The Scope was too large. A lot a ideas were left out: different enemy types, falling floors, keys and doors. Also did not get to fully experiment with the mechanics that were in there.
